The Fresh Meadows Community Library is a part of the larger, borough wide Queens Library system. Located at 193-20 Horace Harding Expressway, the library has been recently renovated with the latest tech upgrades to better serve the community. There is free computer access with 11 desktop computer stations with Microsoft Office software, wireless access and limited free printing services.

At this local branch of the library you’ll find an International collection that also includes Chinese, Korean and Hindu. There’s also a Special Interest collection that includes the Black Experience and Graphic novels. There are monthly free film screenings, there’s also the Knitting and Crocheting and the Table Top Gaming and Chess clubs. You can also apply at this branch for the Culture Pass, the program for cardholding patrons ages 13 and older of Brooklyn Public Library, The New York Public Library and Queens Library. Using their library card, New Yorkers can reserve a pass and get free admission to dozens of other NYC cultural institutions including museums, historical societies, heritage centers, public gardens and much more.
